Chris met Andrew from at the MOA Show 2024 in Taiwan.

“I met Andrew eight years ago on a field in Taiwan. Back then, we were absolutely killing it with our VSR-10s! Ever since, I’ve been trying to hire this guy, haha. But he always had something else going on. It wasn’t until COVID, when I couldn’t fly out to the factory in person, that he stepped in to handle the SSP5 Batch #1 mass production QC for us. He did an amazing job, and it was such a pleasure working with him.
What the guys at are pulling off lately is incredibly inspiring. It reminds me of the early days when we transitioned from being influencers to becoming an airsoft brand.
I see massive potential in 4UAD, and if they keep this up, I’m confident they’ll become a major player in the airsoft industry in no time!
I really can’t wait to see where this is going.”

Chris attended MOA 2024 with our local distributor in Taiwan.

“The last taiwanese airsoftgun show I attended as a youtuber was 8 years ago. Attending this time, representing NOVRITSCH as a brand made me realize how much we have transformed over the years.
8 years ago at that fair handed me a business card asking for a visit to their factory. A moment that changed the trajectory of NOVRITSCH completely. Taiwanese manufacturing allowed me and later the engineering team we built, to make our ideas at a mass production scale, rather than DIY 3D prints.
The SSP28 got quite the attention and with it being on the way from the factory to our warehouses, I am stoked to get a G***k platform out there, that competes with the SSP5 on a performance level.”

We have just returned from a B2B event in Rieka, Croatia and we had a blast! So many cool costumes and things on one spot plus we got the chance to support our B2B Partners at the event and present the airsoft hobby to the visitors, hopefully expanding the local player base in the future. Chris uploaded the shots he did onto social media using his Clipcam, during his North America tour.

“If you are on a busy schedule too, it is hard to find those 10-20 hours of time needed to edit a full-blown multiple-camera gameplay. That’s why we created clipcam. It doesn’t just stop people from cheating, knowing that you can confront them instantly about their misbehavior. It also allows you to share those best shots and moments in the game-breaks within minutes.
How so? Clipcam records all the time and after you hit someone, you press a big button at the back, to save the last 13 seconds. This short clip can be downloaded via wifi to your phone to post it instantly onto social media. Reddot and crosshair overlays are also possible and we provide them with the camera.”

Met -green_Airsofter and David AkaStaten Mcgarvey on the game at . They gave me some insights on 1 Joule sniping. Running a bolt action in general is already challenging and needs a lot of practice. In fact, most people quit sniping after the first game, especially if they are used to the luxury of fast follow-up shots.
With 1 Joule sniping this challenge is lifted to a whole new level, as the range advantage is minimal and comes not from higher power, but mostly only from the ability to use heavier rounds, giving the sniper not more than 5-10 meters of range advantage. 0.32g for windy days, otherwise 0.3g is what they found working best.
With this tiny range advantage, it needs a very skilled player to compete against the mass equipped with semi and automatic firing replicas.
I am pulling my boonie hat in front of all 1 Joule snipers. I admire your guy's patience and dedication to airsoft sniping.

“Played two days at and gotta say that these guys are doing things right. While I love to play in Eastern Europe at some dudes friends uncles abandoned ammunition factory for 5 bucks a day, this was a fresh breath of air and a reminder of what a field can be if ran properly”.

To the hardcore 10 years + airsofter who is fine with playing in a murderhole mulitple story staircases without handrails and who has a shovel and toilet paper already in his packing list, all it needs is a dope authentic battlefield and likeminded fair playing people.
For Karen and her 13 year old Kevin, things are a bit different.
Without fields like the airsoft community would slowly decline and only the same old dudes who “have always been here every weekend” (that’s me right there) would remain.
Clear enforced rules, a safe field, safe offzone, good refs, proper toilets and many other things are needed to keep the current size of the airsoft community, especially in times, where American social media companies are cracking down on Airsoft content, exposing less and less people to this amazing outdoor sport.

Big thanks to for growing the community and for naming their newest part of the Arena after our company.
I had a blast playing in Ireland with a mix of long time airsofters, kids and newcomers and can’t wait to go back!

Chris spent this weekend in Ireland visiting our local retailer and the field :
“Was mostly in the countryside and was astonished by Ireland nature’s lush greens. The frequent rain might be annoying for the airsoft player, but in return, those folks get beautiful forests to play in and trees that are actually big enough to hide behind.
The biggest differences between the Austrian community and the Irish one are low power limits and the young players.
While in Austria, Airsoft is 18+, in Ireland I met some 12 years olds playing. Always great to see kids out there, who might be shy in everyday life and who are still developing their social skills, on the field.
Once you give them an airsoftgun they go from shy kid to Rambo, shouting through the field, running like maniacs and having a great time.
Shoutout to all the parents getting their kids away from the screen, out into nature giving them an opportunity to find new friends.
As for the power difference. WARNING controversial opinion: I actually think a 1 Joule power limit is not bad.
While as a long term airsofter, I appreciate the additional range and the spice of introducing some fear into the game with 2 Joules CQB games, I also understand that this limits the growth of the sport a lot.
Newcomers are not used to that level of pain and some of them fear for their lives during the first rounds. Getting hit upclose by a 1.5J + AEG or 3J+ sniper rifle at the wrong spot might ruin their experience and they will never return to the field.

These photo-/ videoshoot session can sometimes take up a whole day. At times, you need to wait for your turn, for the batteries to charge, fix some unforeseen issues and so on or complete important tasks other the the shoot.

Rules and regulations.
These two pictures are 2 years apart.
Josef doesn’t care much for regulations and would play any game with no limits butt naked (as you all know) which is why he now has scars from BB hits.
However, for people who are new to the sport, this could be a deal breaker. Airsoft is generally speaking a safe sport when you follow the rules and regulations. So if you are new or like a more chilled game day rather than getting hit by a 5J sniper rifle from 5 meter distance, make sure to check the host and rules first.
