SUBJECT: Unfair and Unjust Result of Interviews for the Posts of Municipal Officers - (BPS-17)
Sir,
It is stated that the undersigned applicant/candidate has appeared in pre-interview test and the interview conducted by Sindh Public Service Commission for the Posts Of Municipal Officers (BPS-17) in Sindh Local Govt Department. The result of the same interview has been announced through Press Release No.PSC/Exam (S.S)/2023/500 dated 19-10-2023 and 419 candidates have been declared successful.
From the very face of the announced results, political affiliations and track record of the candidates declared successful by SPSC, it appears that not only the interview results have been manipulated, maneuvered, faked and forged but the entire process of conducting the interview was controlled and influenced by the former Sindh Government. There have been several aspects of the test and the interview that were not accurately reflected in the final results. The undersigned and hundreds of other meritorious candidates who secured substantial marks and good result in written test/exam have been declared unsuccessful and those who secured lesser and mediocre marks, lacked competence and merit, have been declared successful on the basis of their personal and political affiliation with former rulers, influential bureaucrats and feudals, their financial background and payment of huge amounts to brokers/middlemen. We understand that errors can occur, but here in this manipulated interview/exam an attack has been made on the entire system of education, merit, recruitment and governance, therefore it is important to rectify this huge crises/disaster promptly to maintain the integrity of the SPSC and their grading process.
In view of the above facts, I hereby request that the above-mentioned interview results be cancelled and declared null and void, unfair, unjust, illegal and discriminatory on the basis of nepotism, favoritism and corruption, a Judicial Enquiry Commission headed by a sitting Justice of Hon Sindh High Court be constituted to probe into this grave injustice and mega corruption scandal, all written and oral interview results be reviewed by the commission and the concerns of thousands of aggrieved candidates with regard to fair, just, impartial and accurate assessment be addressed. .
