The power of this Emirates ID is remarkable — you can stay in Armenia for 6 months without any visa. Just carry a valid Emirates ID + flight ticket. Even residents of other GCC countries can also stay for 6 months.

I booked a AED 449 flight (10kg hand carry). In 3h 15min, I reached Yerevan. Immigration was smooth — I showed my passport, hotel booking and Emirates ID. “Welcome to Armenia,” the officer said.

SIM card: 2,500 AMD (AED 24) for 15 days unlimited data.
Taxis: Very cheap on Yandex (around AED 8 for 15 mins).
Hostels start from AED 60 if you travel solo.
Halal food is limited, so most days I ate veg meals.

Here’s the exact itinerary I followed:

Day 1: Arrival → SIM → Taxi → Hotel → Rest
Day 2: Arch of Charents, Garni Temple, Symphony of Stones, Geghard, Lake Sevan, Sevanavank, Dilijan & Old Dilijan
Day 3: Yerevan Zoo + Rest
Day 4: Ohanavank, Saghmosavank, Alphabet Park, 3D Cross, Stone Lake, Amberd Fortress
Day 5: Yerevan city → Flight back to Abu Dhabi
