My name is Tracy Masocha and here is my story...

After completing my Advanced level at Ascot High I went to Chinhoyi University of Technology where I did Bsc Honours Degree in Creative Art and Design.

I lost my parents as I was growing up and I moved from one relative to another as this was going on I ended up being. Sexually abused by a relative. It went on for long I tried to commit su***de but I was unsuccessful. I thought that abuse is going on in many families and communities but nobody is saying anything about it. So I decided to write a book sharing my experience. I also listed the causes, signs and symptoms and hoe we can prevent abuse.

I will call myself Mary. So i was dating this guy , everything was going perfectly i got introduced kunba kwacho and i introduced him kumba kwedu , everyone knew about our relationship , and people would say chirooranai. We got to a point yek*ti dates were set . So my ex boyfriend ( i will call him Sam) knew i was a virgin , its smething i didn't hide from him and zvainakidza ka achit these days its rare to find a virgin at 24 . So after the lobola dates were set , I was so sure that he is going to marry me it was obvious so then one day it happened that i gave him my virginity . Soon after he started acting up , he wld spend a day without responding to my messages and doing all kind of things. So one day I got a msg from one of his ex friends akuda kuziva pandimire with Sam bcz as far as Sam is concerned haachandida . Then i took a screenshot and sent it to Sam then akangot I'm sorry Mary. ..it then bcme official k*t andiramba so i started to think k*t ko hama dzangu ndoxziudza sei k*t hakusisina maroora, ko my friends how about other people from the community . I started to think a lot then stress then depression

At times I would cut myself so that I can concentrate on the pain yechironda ndombomira kufunga nezvekusiiwa na Sam . The real issue wasn't on kurambwa but I had invested everything in him especially my virginity, something that was so precious to me and dai anga asisandide he wpd have told rather than sending his side chick 🤦🏾‍♀️....

I started dating married man sleeping with them , ko why not inga ini wangu akangotorwawo . Even though the cuts and dating married man continued suicidal thoughts wld come a lot a of times , but my family and friends vaindifudza bcz i think they knew k*ti i wld do smething special ndri ndega i remember ku campus my friend wld go with me ku toilet chaiko .

My brother then gave me contact ye this psychologist anonzi Hellen with Hellen, I told her everything and she helped me , she cancelled me, at times she wld call me kuma 12 am and I wld pour out everything , upto wen i felt like i was oky ....it took months but I'm now oky , i stopped dating married men , I'm now dating smeone.

Even though I dont feel like I have fully forgiven Sam but I'm okay with my relationship .

Im still having counseling sessions here and it has been very helpful.

If it wasnt Hellen and my supportive family and friends i wld have taken my life.
