Have you had chance to look at the Youth advocacy Guide (YAG)?

I’m an 18 year old Youth Advocacy trainer from Zambia and a climate change and children’s rights activist. I started my advocacy journey in 2019 at 15 years old.
In these 3 years of advocacy , I have come to realize that Advocacy can be messy and now that I have the new and improved youth advocacy guide I can clean up any mess that might come up in my advocacy journey.

BOYS ARE HUMANS!!

A boy must not cry!

A boy must not laugh too loud!

A boy must not be too attached!

A boy must not show any emotion!

A boy must do hard labor to prove he's a man!

These are a few of the standards set by society and I hope society is happy!

I hope society is happy when boys cry at night in secret!

I hope society is happy when boys take their own lives!

I hope society is happy when boys don't ask for help!

I hope society is happy when boys fail to reach it's high unjust standards!!!
