Teach your kids and young siblings the difference between a stage and a choice. Teething is a stage, puberty is a stage. Drinking alcohol and partying is a choice, having multiple partners is a choice.
There's a number of people whose lives got ruined early because they believed f*ckng around is a stage in life. They have unplanned kids, chronic illnesses, can't keep relationships, etc. Some are alcohol addicts, they lost great opportunities because of alcohol, convincing themselves that it's a stage.
There's people who are married to their high school sweethearts, who found genuine love in their third relationship. Who've never touched alcohol, and they're living good lives.
Just because some do it later it does not mean they skipped a stage, it simply means they made a choice later in life. A stage can never be skipped.
