"our way of escape"
God in addressing the church of Corinth in 1 corinthians10:13 He through Paul argues out about the misconceived views about temptations..."There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." in James 1:13-16 " Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren."
We live in an imperfect world where we ourselves are imperfect. though this may be the case, we where not created to be imperfect but sin mired us into this mud. so though imperfect we may be, these higher grounds are what deep down we yearn for. this is evident enough in our day to day life; non of us whats there job to be imperfectly done, we aim for higher marks, high defination (HD) images, among many more.
The moment we declare interest in the things of God, the devil gives a doubt of confidence and trys by all means to make us fall for his views by turning our back on our new interest, hence the temptations.
Has He left us on our own to go in these errands? absolutely no, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." (James 1:2-8 KJV). Long ago the Psalmist declaired, "Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture"(Psalm 100:3 KJV); in this we find that though we alienated ourselves from him, we are still his people. Therefore, he provides a way of escape out of these temptation.
The God who searches and understands the intents of our hearts knows the ultimate results of the decisions we will make when the devil knocks at the door. He will not permit anything beyond us. So to you and me who lingers to make a decision for fear that we invite trouble, He who is faithful and true to his word says "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10).... So do not despair for the Lord will be your shield and guide.
For "the key to overcome trails and temptation is that" we should trust God with our decisions and "should not lead ourselves into these trails and temptations, for we can not provide our way of escape."
