Big Tobacco’s gone too far. It’s time to speak out and step in! 🥾
We produced another World #NoTobacco Day campaign for the World Health Organization (WHO), this time exposing how tobacco companies are targeting youth. The feeling is unanimous: outrage.
We've teamed up with bold influencers to speak the truth and stand up for what's right!
What would your superpower be?
We’re so inspired by the U-Report team! Even without superpowers, these UNICEF climate activists are changing the world. 🌍
#ChildMarriage in South Sudan is a complex and deep-rooted issue, where 52% of girls are married before they turn 18.
We’ve been hard at work with UNICEF South Sudan to correct this and challenge the social norms in communities. This animation is one of multiple projects we've worked on that turns attention to the young girls who suffer from the practice of child marriage.
All girls deserve a choice.
We’re with @UNICEF on this one, #ChildMarriage needs to end, now.

Everyone deserves a name.
Sounds simple enough, but for millions of children, birth registration isn’t a given.
To help correct this, we worked with @UNICEF on the #MyName campaign to communicate the importance of birth registration and the opportunities it can unlock further down the line. ⚽️
Parents are the real heroes. 💙
Merve endured a truly heartbreaking series of events with the catastrophic earthquakes in Turkiyë last year, soon followed by the death of her husband. 🇹🇷
But through it all, she never stopped being a mother, loving and supporting her girls.
Partnering with UNICEF for another story in the #RaisingParents series, we filmed Merve’s emotional journey of resilience and unfailing commitment to caring for her daughters.
It’s extremely tough for kids growing up in communities with poverty, violence and abuse. But the Safe Parks project provides a space for kids to learn, play and be themselves with support from trained professionals.
Working with @UNICEF South Africa , we got to film Sam’s story of how his life was transformed through such a programme and how he’s working to impact the next generation.
This UNICEF project in north-west Nigeria is a story that will continue to resonate with our team, and audiences, for a lifetime…
It all began when UNICEF asked us to create a video that shines a spotlight on how violence in north-west Nigeria is impacting girls’ access to education.
10-year-old Aisha’s tragic story had a huge impact on us, but her resilience in the face of immense challenges was so inspiring. Ingrid van der Walt, Rooftop Director and Producer, takes us through the project.
We’ve got seven years to turn the tide on biodiversity loss. 🌍 ⏳
A few months back, we had the privilege of telling a WWF story with none other than Jason Momoa!
His passion for the protection of biodiversity is infectious, calling on the world to unite in action.
The brief: think of a product that shows the lengths the tobacco industry will go to target children.
Here is what we came up with for World Health Organization (WHO)
#NoTobacco #TobaccoExposed
Join the Rooftop team as we discuss motion-capture, Unreal Engine 5, #GameDevelopment and ozone education. 🌍 🎮
Our latest case study dives into the details of our recent project for UN Environment Programme, “Reset Earth: Apollo’s Edition”, which utilised some of the latest technologies to deliver an experience for a Gen Z audience that teaches them about the ozone layer and inspires them to take action for our planet.
Corporate ethics can be a complex topic to create a video about.
Hats off to our writers and animators for this one!
We introduced Fred and developed a concept around him and his many hats to tell an informative story on ethical behaviour for Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) employees.
Safer Campuses
Our latest production for UNESCO is a weighty one.
The harsh realities of gender-based violence need to be addressed.
It’s time for #SaferCampuses.
Growing food, not tobacco
For #WorldNoTobaccoDay 2023 we had the incredible privilege of filming Sprina’s story, a farmer from Kenya who converted from tobacco farming to iron bean crops.
She has inspired others in her community to do the same, protecting their health, food supply and the environment. Thank you to World Health Organization (WHO) for trusting us with her story.
World Health Organization (WHO)'s 2023 #WorldNoTobaccoDay campaign is to Grow Food, Not Tobacco. 🌽
This story is brought to life by Sprina – she shares her farming journey of how she switched from tobacco to bean crops. 🫘
We had the privilege of filming her in Kenya and hearing the story first-hand.
Today is #WorldNoTobaccoDay 🚭
Did you know that 3M+ hectares of land in over 120 countries are being used to grow tobacco while 300M+ people globally are faced with acute food insecurity?
Grow food, not tobacco!
#NoTobacco #tobaccoexposed
In celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, we’re sharing a video we created for the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism in 2022.
Featuring the professional footballer, Nadia Nadim, this video focuses on the role sport plays in helping people from troubled backgrounds.
Sport isn't just an enjoyable and healthy activity, it teaches us the values needed to be more resilient, more confident people, to overcome the challenges we face in life.
#MoreThanAGame #SportDay United Nations
We had the incredible privilege of creating this animation for WWF, to show how empty a #WorldWithoutNature would be by removing the instantly recognisable panda🐼 from their logo.
We need to stand together and protect the nature we rely on. 🌱
