Royal AM has annoynced that Sinky Mnisi has rejoined the club as COO.

Mnisi’s return to Thwihli Thwahla has raised eyebrows in the football fraternity in South Africa.

The experienced administrator was put on “special ;eave” at the end of the 2021/22 season after a reported fallout with club president Shauwn Mkhize.

In August 2022, Mnisi called a press conference where he blasted Mkhize, saying he was not “udakaboy” [a man who mixes cement at a construction site].

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos says he expects a difficult game against South Sudan.

The sides will meet in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at Juba National Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Broos and Oswin Appollis addressed the local media at the match venue on Monday afternoon and both said they expected a tricky outing against the hosts in the blistering heat of Juba.

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced that Themba Zwane will captain the team that will face Uganda and South Sudan in two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers in the coming days.

The Belgian Coach made the announcement to the team after dinner on Tuesday night and the mercurial player will lead the South African senior national side against Uganda at home at Orlando Stadium on Friday, 06 September 2024 (6pm), and away against South Sudan in their second AFCON qualifier on Tuesday, 10 September 2024.

Mohamed Salah has hinted that this could be his last season at Liverpool as his contract expires at the end of June 2025.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) confirmed Labbadia’s appointment on Tuesday and becomes the sixth German to take charge of the Super Eagles.

Tributes continue to be pouring following the passing of legendary Swedish manager Sven-Goran Eriksson. The former Manchester City and England manager has died at the age of 76.
