I focus on assisting entrepreneurs, start-ups, non-profit organisations and small businesses with social media and brand awareness - helping them stay relevant! Esther Tredoux started her career as a receptionist at Varsity College and within one year she was promoted to campus administrator. During her role as campus administrator she was tasked with assisting in the coordination of The Night of
the Stars – an awards ceremony for the top achieving academic students. This ignited Esther’s passion for event planning and she undertook a part time course in public relations to develop her career, she later went on to complete a National Diploma in Public Relations through UNISA. Esther then went on to work at Walmer Methodist Church, as the youth administrator, where she assisted with the background coordination for countless small events including: Friday night youth sessions, Sunday school lessons, youth camps, confirmation camps as well as holiday clubs. A few years later Esther landed herself the role of marketing coordinator at Mission Aviation Fellowship and Flying for Life. Here she successfully redesigned both websites through Weebly, added new merchandise designs to the organisation’s marketing catalogue (caps, t-shirts, baby grows) and taught herself the basics of Photoshop and InDesign – enabling her to bring all design work in-house and effectively saving the organisation money. Furthermore, Esther developed her public speaking skills by doing presentations at various schools, old age homes and churches and successfully increased public relations for the organisation by securing radio and TV interviews for the managing director. In addition to this, Esther represented MAF at various air shows and church conferences across South Africa - duties included securing event space, packing of merchandise and stock take, sales of merchandise, stand set-up and removal, as well as coordination of volunteers. Esther did a short stint at dei Gratia communications where she successfully secured media coverage for the South African Bone Marrow Registry (SABMR) in local and national newspapers and on various radio stations. Esther’s desire to run her own business was birthed early on in her career, and this dream finally materialised in 2017.
