The Scholarly Communication in Africa Programme is an IDRC-funded initiative formed in order to address the global and local underuse of Southern African research. It is based in the University of Cape Town, with project coordinators in each of the other three participating institutions: the University of Botswana, the University of Mauritius and the University of Namibia.
