Five years ago today, we (God, contributors and I) released the first issue of Kréhon magazine on 18 April 2018.

Although often mispronounced as “creon,” the “little” publication packed with “big” content has become a local household name amongst friends, acquaintances and various groups.

Kréhon (pronounced as simple as a toddler’s crayon) formed it’s own unique history and has been a developing story, colouring outside the lines of a mere (digital) magazine. It’s a media brand with vast potential.

I’ll always remain in awe of the Lord’s grace, favour and insight into every part of every issue and endeavour pertaining to the brand, the product, His brainchild unto me. My “baby” - which I will not abort whatsoever.

I am ever thankful and appreciative of every single word, image, promotion and encouragement by every individual who prayed, submitted articles/content, proofread, edited, photographed and shared the diverse content displayed in every publication. All throughout Kréhon magazine, Kréhon SWIFT, Kréhon VOCA (newspaper), VOCA magazine (special combined edition) and VOCA TV (the journal).

Excitement for Issue 9 of Kréhon magazine has been marinating and swelling in the air. I’ve had to hold my breath a little, considering this unique publication’s peculiar production process. (Didn’t plan the alliteration of P’s there…)

Issue 9, featuring an array of colourful people, as Kréhon does best, will be announced and released this coming Winter (jus’ so by the way…)

Cheers to 5 years of building and growing a lot of things out of the purest form of nothing. Nothing but grace.
