As many of us are preparing for Christmas 🥰 we may feel the need to overspend to prove to our loved ones how much they mean to us and how much we love them.

Getting into debt for loved ones Christmas shopping isn’t the only way to show love as this could sabotage any financial success you have made this year and set you back in 2024.

Remember - love isn’t what you feel it’s what you do.

Some of the systems to help you manage your money :
1.Create a budget monthly
2.Automate everything to get rid of decision fatigue
3.Set aside time to think of new ways to create multiple streams of income eg every Monday from 8:00pm to 9:30pm
4.You are as good as the company you keep - intentionally place your self in places where money is discussed and where good financial habits are a norm
5.Focus on an abundance mindset and believe that yes you can.

4 questions to ask yourself & your loved ones about money.

🔸Day - What did you do for yourself today?
-This is important to ensure you are providing yourself with the necessary self care.This could be listening to your favourite song for 5mins or watching your favourite show or even buying your favourite chocolate.
Doing this will ensure that you don’t feel like all your money is going towards goals, survival and you aren’t doing anything for yourself.

🔸Week - What have you learnt about your money habits this week that you can take into next week?
-This question helps to make you aware of your financial habits.Are you staying within your budget weekly each week - If yes , what is it that you are have done to stay within the budget.
-If not, do you need to adjust your budget to reflect your reality or what is causing you to go over.

🔸Quarter - Are your money habits going in your intended direction?
If yes - take time to reflect on what has gone well.
If not - ask yourself what you can do to course correct.

🔸Yearly - What is your financial goal for the year and what can you do to meet your goal?
-This helps to get started each year and to begin with the end in mind.

Here are three things you need to consider :
-Instalment amount per month
-interest rate - the lower or closer to prime the better
-insurance costs
-costs to maintain or service the car
-consistency of your income inflow - will you have money coming in monthly to be able to afford this?
-avoid a balloon payment

Sales are down &people can’t afford the basics because of inflation.

This offering will lead to increased consumer debt.

The service, Apple Pay Later, will allow users to split purchases into four payments spread over six weeks with no interest or fees, the company said.

Users can apply for loans between $50 and $1,000, which can be used for online and in-app purchases made on iPhone and iPad with merchants that accept Apple Pay, according to the company.

Every morning I go for a walk & I have learnt not to rely on my feelings because most days I don’t feel like it and my body wants to stay inside the house.

When this happens- I put on my shoes and put one foot after another.
Fortunately most of the times I meet strangers also walking & we have a conversation about anything for sometime.

When this happens the walk becomes better and I start to enjoy it.

The same goes with finances- money can be overwhelming but know that you don’t have to tackle your finances alone.

Whenever you feel like not dealing with your finances- which can be daily like my walk, remember I am your finance besty and you will never walk alone.
