About the project: Our company has an opportunity to work with 1 of the biggest Record Labels in the country and we want to do so with an album. Various beatmakers/ producers and various artists from Cape Town will be featured on this project.
We will also host workshops to educate all of you on the music business and the business of music and everything else you need to know to be an artist in SA. We see now that what most artists lack in Cape Town is education on how the business works and we are here to help 🙂

Rebelution Music & Media has an opportunity to present a proposal for a 15 track project to 1 of the world's biggest Record Labels. We have received inboxes from producers/ beat makers, but we need more. We will be starting with the producers/ beat makers and then move on to the artist (MC) selections.
The project is a Strictly Afrikaans Hip Hop album featuring various producers/ beat makers and various rappers from Cape Town and around SA.
Before we start the project we will be hosting workshops and information sessions to EDUCATE everyone involved on the following:
- Your rights as an artist / how royalties work
- Studio Etiquette
- Sync Deals / Distribution/ Publishing
- How the music business works
- Understanding contracts
- What it takes to build a successful artist brand and image
- How to register yourself and your music.
- How to be professional at shows and on stage
- How to sell your music and get booked
- How to grow your social media and have a POSITIVE social media presence.
