Coming in HOT …. Get ready for an unforgettable evening at the 14th Desmond Tutu International Peace Lecture on 23 November 2024! This year, “Bearing Witness,” is a powerful theme challenging us to confront the injustices we see and take action to make a difference.

Two incredible Nobel Peace Prize laureates are headline keynote speakers: journalist Maria Ressa and human rights advocate Oleksandra Matviichuk.

Maria Ressa, awarded the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize for defending freedom of expression, and Oleksandra Matviichuk, recognised in 2022 for her work documenting war crimes in Ukraine, both embody the courage to bear witness in times of crisis. They’ll be joined by Sudanese journalist and Sky News Africa correspondent Yousra Elbagir, who will help us dive into the relevance of bearing witness today, especially with global issues like the ongoing struggles in Sudan.

Taking place at the CTICC on Saturday November 23rd — tickets are FREE and first phase has been released.

When Emmanuel Agbenafa was introduced to Narrative, we immediately felt his immense spiritual presence and incredibly healing ability using Ancient African wisdom passed on through centuries. Now we're working with him to curate and offer unique retreats at the beautiful in Hout Bay, where he will lead rituals, share his wisdom, offer counselling, and practice ancient African ways to help guests navigate their past, present, and future selves.

Last week Narrative worked with .africa to introduce a selection of products that were created as part of 's beautiful initiative. Here, .africa worked with .bentum.textiles to create a complementary range of felted, beaded and pure SA merino wool products to sit alongside the luxurious leather products Okapi is well-known and loved for.

We are so honoured to be working with for the second Laughs for the Arch Gala Fundraiser and Auction, in support of an incredible organisation that furthers the vision and legacy of the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Hosted by comedian with a musical performance by and stand-up entertainment by and , the Gala promises an evening of comedy and revelry to celebrate and honour the legacy of the beloved Archbishop Tutu. The event will also include a live auction to raise funds for the organisation, with key highlights including a stay , a bag from .africa and a personal performance by , alongside further fine wine and art lots, and special memorabilia from Peter Gabriel , and .
