Whatever Happened to Maryanna, the girl with the hair as dark as night, who was in love with the boy with the bright blue eyes?
He was the light of her life and the reason for her smile. He filled her days with joy and made them all worthwhile.
But then he left her. He took his last breath. He slipped away and met death.
She couldn’t bear the pain, she couldn’t face the truth. She lost her self in drugs and wasted away her youth.
She turned to violence and hurt the ones who cared. She pushed them away to hide the pain she couldn’t bear.
In solitude she dwelled, shattered, lost in despair. no dreams to embrace, no hope in the air. Haunted by memories, his silent scream, a ghostly echo in the lonely dream.
Yearning to rewind, alter the moments cast, yet time's grip is firm, the chance slips fast. A wish for the past, where shadows are cast, but alas, nothing endures: she know nothing can last.
Returning, but not to linger in the fray, back te confront a haunting yesterday, a history that shaped her. A truth she can't disclaim.
Back to witness that visage, harbinger of fain, a countenance devoid of solace, no warmth to gain.
Returning to seek the solace sought before.
Longing for the peace she’s yearned, a tranquil shore.
Freedom awaits in the arms of serene reprieve, desening the peace that her heart does perceive.
I'm sorry for what I did, but not fer who I became. I'm not going back to give up. I'm going back to him, to make him feel my pain.
Whatever Happened to Maryanna is coming soon.
