John Singletary is a Philadelphia-based photographer and multimedia artist, known for his immersive installations that blend black and white photography with video, animation, and technology. His work explores our shared humanity and has been exhibited and collected by prestigious institutions like the Philadelphia Museum of Art and The Center for Fine Art Photography. His work has appeared in publications such as Lenscratch Magazine and the Philadelphia Inquirer, and he was a featured lecturer at the 2021 Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival.

Last Wednesday, September 11, WCHE co-hosted the annual September 11 Memorial Event, held this year at the Ludwig's Corner Show Grounds in West Vincent Township. The event had patriot music featuring Carol Sexton from Malvern, a previous guest on the WCHE Morning Show, singing the National Anthem. There was also a guest speaker, Tim Hubbard, a retired West Goshen/Westtown police officer. He spoke of his experience answering the call to assist in New York City, what he saw, the smells and tastes in the air, the sounds and fears surrounding every volunteer searching for survivors. The evening was completed with 10 Hot air balloons taking to the sky, led by America One, the US Flag Balloon, Even SpiderPig attended!. Yes, we said it, SpiderPig! All of the people that came to speak and perform were volunteers. People who feel it is important for everyone to never forget those innocent individuals who perished that day.
