Exciting news!! PV Mag's own Editor in Chief will be running an online course on narrative poetry and storytelling in June. We hope to see some of you there! Details below - - -
The Lifeblood of Storytelling: Write a Better Narrative
✨ What: A 4 week online Groups.io course on narrative poetry and storytelling. This will interrogate what you know to be prose and poetry, blending and blurring the boundaries between them. Together, we’ll analyze the works of Olivia Gatwood, Patricia Smith, Layli Long Soldier, Hanif Abdurraquib, Ada Limón, Anne Carson, and others to learn from their mastery.
✨ Who: Presented by Veronica Mattaboni, Editor in Chief of Peach Velvet Mag. Veronica is a poet, editor, and writing coach living in Pennsylvania. She holds an MFA in Poetry from Spalding University and is Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee. Her work has been featured in Popshot Quarterly, Menacing Hedge, and The Offing, among others. Hosted by Pennwriters.

Did you miss us? Cause we certainly missed you ❤️
🌼 We don't need to tell you 2020 was a rough one, but PV Mag has come out the other side and we're ready to start production again. We've got a bunch of neat stuff for you guys this year, starting with the summer '21 zine! ☀️ You'll get a little sneak peek later in the month, but our inbox will open back up for submissions in May for the summer '21 zine, as per usual. And we'll be doing the long awaited Hometown Haunts theme for fall '21. 🎃
Thank you everyone who has stuck with us ❤️❤️ We promise it's gonna be worth the wait.
