On January 6, 1982, 2 women went missing on the same night in the Breckenridge, Colorado area. Both women were murdered, but the crime wouldn’t be solved until 2021 via genetic genealogy.

Episode 88 – Joshua Richards
When officers arrived at the Luna Lounge in Appleton, Wisconsin, they found Joshua Richards on the floor near the bar's entrance. Joshua had been fatally shot in the head and it wasn't clear who pulled the trigger.
Episode 87 – Jacqueline Annette Williams
Jacqueline Williams told friends she was going to have a baby. She plotted with her boyfriend and another man to shoot and stab a pregnant woman. The unfortunate outcome was a triple murder involving 2 children and their mother.
Episode 86 – Jessyca Mullenberg
On September 16, 1995, 13-year-old Jessyca Mullenberg Was Kidnapped By Her Neighbor Steven Oliver. They Aired Her Case On America’s Most Wanted, Which Led To The Tip That Saved Her Life.
Episode 85 - Lorenzen Wright
Lorenzen Wright Played 13 Seasons In The NBA And Was Memphis Tennessee’s Sacred Son. He Went Missing And Was Found Shot To Death Several Days Later. His Ex-Wife And Her Friend Were Charged With The Crime.
Episode 84 - The Signal Mountain Murders
Richard Mason, Kenneth Griffith, and Earl Smock were riding ATVs in the backwoods of Signal Mountain near Chattanooga, Tennessee and were found murdered. They convicted Frank Casteel for the crime, as he was known for threatening trespassers with his shotgun.
Episode 83 - Suzanne Collins
In 1985, Suzanne Collins was a United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal who was kidnapped, r***d, and murdered while stationed on the military base in Millington, Tennessee. Law enforcement charged Sedley Alley with the crime and he claimed to have multiple personality disorder.
Episode 82 - Tanna Togstad, and her boyfriend, Timothy Mumbrue, were found stabbed to death in Tanna’s Royalton, WI farmhouse on March 21, 1992. Police identified Tony Haase as a suspect after a DNA sample was taken from him during a traffic stop. Tanna’s father had been involved in a snowmobile accident that resulted in the death of Haase’s father.

81 - Brittany Zimmermann
21-year-old Brittany Zimmermann was murdered in her downtown Madison, WI apartment, after taking an exam. Transient David Kahl broke into her Doty Street rental and repeatedly stabbed her when she was on the phone with 911.

Episode 80 - Neil LaFave
Neil LaFave’s murder took place over 50 years ago, but it is a case not forgotten in Wisconsin. His legacy lives on in different forms from the granite marker placed in the Sensible Wildlife Area by his wife Peggy. In Madison, Neil’s name was engraved on a Wisconsin Law Enforcement Memorial. In 2020, LaFave’s daughter, Nikki DeGreef, worked to get a boat landing renamed after her father. When locals launch their boat off of Sunset Beach Road in Suamico, they are greeted by the sign that reads - “Welcome to Neil L. LaFave Suamico Boat Launch Brown County Park System.”

80 - Neil LaFave
Neil LaFave was a DNA warden who was killed in the Sensiba Wildlife Area in Green Bay by 21-year-old Brian Hussong. LaFave issued a citation to Hussong for hunting out of season and this was what sparked the crime.

On December 8, 2005, Angela Drake was at the Dry Bean Saloon in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. She left the bar with a man and never returned home the following day.

Paul Ware from Chattanooga, Tennessee, was the first person ever tried in the United States using mitochondrial DNA testing. He was convicted of murdering and ra**ng 4-year-old Lindsey Green.

77 - Lara Plamann
In 2007, 30-year-old Lara Plamann was found shot to death on her rural Wisconsin property. Despite a decade-long investigation, no one has been charged with her murder, and the case remains unsolved.

Episode 76 - Theresa Wesolowski
22-year-old Theresa Wesolowski was found lying face down on the ground a few blocks from where she worked. Someone had stabbed her over 40 times. It took 10 years to arrest her coworker Mark Libecki, who claimed another coworker killed Theresa.

75 - Charlene Dvorak & Garland Hampton
15-year-old Charlene Dvorak was found barely alive in a secluded municipal park by a railroad bridge. She died two days later. 2 classmates were responsible for the crime. 15-year-old Garland Hampton immersed himself in gang culture because of his childhood trauma and shot his friend over $100 dollars that went missing.

74 - Carol Knepp
Carol Knepp was murdered on February 19, 1996, right after she celebrated a year of marriage to Gary Knepp. They purportedly had a good relationship, but Gary had an affair with his friend’s wife, Lisa Hostetter, and this extramarital relationship led to the crime.

Lorenzo Fayne was an American serial killer and necrophile who was active from 1989 to 1993. They did not quickly capture him because he lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and East St. Louis, Illinois. Plus, the police were understaffed in a time of record murders and underfunding to where they couldn’t afford car radios.

Sandra and John Maloney were going through a contentious divorce. Sandra Maloney was found dead and burned in her home in 1998. John was a detective and arson investigator who was convicted of the crime.
