*****COMUNICADO DE PRENSA – TENTATIVA DE HOMICIDIO – SUJETO BUSCADO*****
Aproximadamente a las 11:14 p.m. del Lunes, 3 de Junio de 2024, el Centro de Despacho de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Columbia recibiĂł una llamada al 911 informando de un apuñalamiento que acababa de ocurrir en las instalaciones de Alsum Produce ubicadas en County Highway EF en la ciudad de Randolph. Varios diputados respondieron de inmediato al incidente. Mientras los diputados estaban en camino, se supo que el sospechoso habĂa huido de la escena.
La vĂctima masculina fue transportada a un hospital por EMS con lesiones potencialmente mortales.
El vehĂculo que se cree que fue utilizado por el sospechoso para huir de la escena fue recuperado abandonado al costado de la autopista 151 en la ciudad de Columbus.
Los agentes buscaron al sospechoso utilizando un K-9 y drones térmicos, pero no pudieron localizarlo.
Durante esta investigaciĂłn, los detectives se enteraron de que el sospechoso masculino conocĂa a la vĂctima masculina a travĂ©s de un sujeto femenino mutuamente conocido. La investigaciĂłn inicial muestra que se tratĂł de un ataque dirigido y se cree que no hay peligro continuo para el pĂşblico en este momento.
El sospechoso ha sido identificado como OSCAR DANILO PERALTA RIVERA, de 28 años, de Markesan. Se adjunta una foto reciente de Oscar. Oscar Danilo Peralta Rivera es buscado por los siguientes motivos:
1. Intento de homicidio intencional en 1er grado
2. Acechando
Se sabe que Oscar tiene vĂnculos con las áreas de Deforest, Sun Prairie y Marshall.
La investigación está en curso y se esperan cargos adicionales. Si ve a Oscar, no se acerque a él y llame al 911 de inmediato. Está armado y es peligroso.
