Yalobusha County Sheriff’s Department will never call you about a Warrant.
If you get a call from someone saying they are with YCSO and you have a warrant and owe money, hang up.
Do not give them any information or confirm any information.

The City of Water Valley is pursuing grant funding to improve access for affordable fiber internet service in all areas that receive electricity from the City of Water Valley.

The current BEAD Map https://broadbandms.com/apply-for-grants/bead/map shows all residents and businesses that receive electricity from the City of Water Valley Electric Department (both inside and outside the city limits) have access to high speed internet service (1,000 MBPS). With this designation, a $1.136 million dollar BEAM (Broadband Expansion And Accessibility of Mississippi) grant preliminarily awarded for fiber deployment will NOT be awarded.

An effort is underway in the city to document that high speed internet service (1000 MBPS) is NOT available in all areas and Mayor Tommy Reynolds needs your help if you receive electricity from the City of Water Valley. The attached form must be filled out and emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at Water Valley City Hall.

Completing this form will take effort, but Mayor Reynolds stressed that this is vital for fiber deployment in the city and areas outside the city limits that receive electricity from the Water Valley Electric Department.

The following information is REQUIRED for the form:
• Conduct speed tests on three different days https://www.speedtest.net/

• Attach a copy of your internet provider bill to the completed form

• Email form and copy of internet service provider bill to [email protected] or drop it off at Water Valley City Hall
