Kris started playing music in IL as a drummer at the age of 13. The group he was playing with needed a singer so he started doing both. At the age of 18, he moved to MN and after a year of playing drums at local clubs around Minneapolis, he was offered a position as a lead vocalist. The rest is history and he never looked back.

BILLY
Drums

Billy’s musical upbringing started early, by steeping himself in his older sister’s classic rock records and 8-tracks, as well as being force fed piano lessons. At age 11, Billy picked up the violin. And while he took to it quickly, he also realized it didn’t rock AT ALL. So, when drums presented themselves a year later, the choice was obvious, and there was no looking back.

Billy has since chalked up nearly 30 years as a professional live and studio drummer, traveling the world playing a wide array of musical styles through the years. But he always will be a rocker at heart, and is right at home in the rock n roll circus that IS Hairball!

BRIAN HBK
Bass / Vocals

It’s safe to say HBK was bitten by the music bug at a very early age. His home growing up was filled with music. Many hours were spent lying on the living room floor in front of the stereo speakers playing records by people like Three Dog Night, The Beatles, Foreigner and many others. His uncle played him KISS Alive II, then he heard Led Zeppelin and that was it…there was no turning back. He dreamed of getting to play and sing in front of people. He joined his first bar band at the age of 15 and has had the privilege of playing on different stages across North America ever since.
