The Virginia Beach Public Utilities advises that a boil water notice is immediately in effect for the following in the Princess Anne Road area: Tidewater Community College – Virginia Beach Campus, ODU/NSU Virginia Beach Higher Education Center, Landstown Elementary School, Landstown Middle School, Landstown High School, LifeNet Health, SPSA Landstown Transfer Station, and Sentara Princess Anne General Hospital. Earlier today, contractor work in the vicinity of Princess Anne Road and S Independence Boulevard resulted in damage to a water valve. The Department of Public Utilities responded to isolate the damaged valve. This boil water notice will remain in effect until at least 9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8. Join us for the Virginia Beach Police Mounted Patrol's Holiday Open House - Toy & Food Drive, December 10th from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Mounted Patrol Barn (2089 Indian River Road).

We will have riding demonstrations at 1 PM and 3 PM, a K9 demo at 2 PM, kids' activities, a food truck, and more!

Town Center is about to be decked out for the holidays! Mark your calendars for the Holiday Open House on 11/26

From November 25th through December 31st, come and enjoy Christmas scenes depicted in magical snow globes located in the Fountain Plaza.

Holiday festivities also include a dancing light display that bursts to light at the top of every hour, between 6 p.m. and 9p.m.

But wait there's more! Santa and live entertainment will also be joining the Snow Globe Spectacular from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the following evenings: December 2 – 3 | 9 – 10 | 16 – 17 | 18 – 23

FREE On-Street Parking on Atlantic Avenue has resumed! ​Visit your favorite shops and restaurants at the Oceanfront and park right outside for FREE. Starting now and running through April 1 of next year, drivers may park in marked spaces along Atlantic Avenue for up to two hours free of charge.

Where: From 5th to 10th streets; 11th to 19th streets; 22nd to 29th streets; and 31st to 38th streets (Note that there are no parking zones between 10th and 11th streets; 19th and 22nd streets; and 29th and 31st streets)

When: From November 2022 to April 1, 2023, FREE two-hour parking will be available between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.
