Jose’s family left Michoacán as migrant workers picking grapes in California. They wanted to have the American dream of owning a home, back home after and the journey begins after Jose’s teacher visits the family at the grape farm. You must watch the
Movie for the rest. It’s a wonderful story of immigrants/migrants success story of resiliency, courage and determination when you are in the USA. The actor who played Jose is Michael Peña.

TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!! We were able to work with the amazing Kommuna Lux to reschedule the concert they were unable to make in June. Join us at the park on TUESDAY, August 6th!

You know what that means?! Next week we are doing BACK-TO-BACK concerts on Monday night AND Tuesday night... both for FREE! Half Moon Orchestra will open at 5:30pm and then Kommuna Lux will take the stage at 7:00pm. We're SO thankful that we were able to work out a new date before they head home to Ukraine!

(For this Tuesday concert, we're very excited that our rain date location will be St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Catholic Church right across the street on Cottage Place!)
