extending from Grover to Kettle Creek Gorge to near Lairdsville to
Hughesville to Muncy, moving east at 45 mph.

Northumberland, Schuylkill, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan and York.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

- While the heavy rain is ending for the next several hours,

* At 1156 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 4
and 5 inches of rain have fallen in spots. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following

Perry and Snyder.

* WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1108 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in
Millerstown. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Millerstown is the most likely place to experience minor
flooding.
Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Sunbury, Shamokin, Mount Carmel, Selinsgrove, Danville,
Kulpmont, Elysburg, Fairview-Ferndale, Riverside, Trevorton,

At 746 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Danville, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
possible.
