I'm always so grateful, especially this time of year during the annual Ralph Stanley's Memorial Day Hills of Home Festival, that the Stanley family allowed my brother Ernie to be buried up there at the festival grounds cemetery.
Along with it being the honor of a lifetime for Ernie, it also allows people that would like to visit his final resting place, but who ordinarily would not have the chance to do so, the chance to do that.
I'm always humbled by the pictures and the videos of the people who go pay their respects to my brother while paying their respects to the Stanley Brothers and their other family members who are laid to rest there.
Thanks to you all of my extended bluegrass family!
