Subtitle "effect," should it match or contrast with the main title?
I'm choosing to republish my first book to make the ending a little less controversial and prophetic (some said I hit a little too close to home), so I have to change my title and would love your input!

Help me decide on the effects for the Title & Subtitle:
Do you like the fog around them? Does it make them look like they glow, ala Neon Lights & are "eye catching."
Or do you think plain titles are better because they are more clear?

So, given the geopolitical climate, I've decided to unpublish my first book because it has proven to be a little too prophetic. I'll be republishing it with a new title and a new tone, mostly focused around the ending and the beginning of Book 2. With that, what do you think of the draft cover for the re-release?

If you use Opera browser (HIGHLY recommended) on Linux Mint (also HIGHLY recommended), but have been having problems with videos, here's your quick, 5-minute fix:
git clone https://github.com/Ld-Hagen/fix-opera-linux-ffmpeg-widevine.git
Go to the repo root folder
cd ./fix-opera-linux-ffmpeg-widevine
sudo ./scripts/fix-opera.sh
(optional, for a permanent fix):
sudo ./install.sh

English/Vocabulary question…
Anyone think it's weird that:
Millennia = 1,000 years
Eon = 1,000,000,000 years
BUT, there's no simple word for "1 Million years?"
Sure, you can force "mega-annum," but it's messy and ungainly compared to the other two words. Ever wonder why that is?

I want to thank all of you that has helped me on my journey for a brand-identity for Fleet of Goats Productions.
We started with a letter-based version, then we shifted to art: looking for pictures that would reflect the name. There were versions that used a shield-shape and shifted from a "ship" to an "anchor" to represent the Fleet.
It has taken a while, but I'm really pleased where we ended in the bottom right. I think it will serve well as a distinctive symbology with a lot of meaning embedded in the final version. Thank all of you that voted, commented, and sent me messages! I appreciate you all!

No voting, but I would love your feedback. There are quite a number of variations to consider. Some obvious things:
1. Horns: More spirally or more simple?
2. Eye color: (I think gray or white, not blue)
3. Gold Shield: Point or Flat at top?
4. Shield Background: Solid color or more "Americanized?" If the latter, which option feels best (some want to the blue under the ship because water = blue)
5. Ship: Do I junk the ship and go with an Anchor?
6. Radical: Do I delete the Gold Goat and use a void space? I'll probably add back in the smile and the nose if I go in that direction.

OK Boys and Girls, I think this may be my "final" version. Fixed a few small things that I didn't like. The one thing I didn't do was to add "guns" to the ship, but I think that would make it too busy?

Citizens of the Empire! Based on good feedback yesterday, I'm exploring a totally alternative Logo idea for:
Fleet of Goats Productions
I'm starting with the "Goat Head." I'm going for a "bad@$$" concept (versus a happy/fluffy approach). Yes, I still need to figure out the "Fleet" part of it. Perhaps the Goat Head will be on the front of a ship's bow? Like the Dragons on sailing ships of old?
But, first things first, what do you think of this?
