Hey there! As we previously announced Apex Fiske Entertainment launched an Artist Spotlight to showcase the amazing talents of local artists in our area. We are committed to supporting and highlighting the work of these talented individuals. This month we are highlighting Daniel Michael Crane.

Daniel Michael Crane, frequently going by "DMC" is a seasoned award-winning singer, MC, and occasional actor. Adopted from South America as a baby with his twin sister; he grew up on Long Island and got his early singing start in NYC. Although his specialty lies within the classic country realm, he is classically trained in voice with the ability to also sing Rat Pack, Broadway, Oldies Variety, Classic Christmas, and National Anthem/God Bless America.
DMC didn't start singing country music until 2015. Thanks to his classical training, he learned how to sing it entirely by ear. Before that, growing up on Long Island he was exposed to doo w*p, Motown, and musical theater at an early age so music was always in the house, car, or on tv. Billy Joel has also been a huge influence on him as he was after all the soundtrack of every Long Island kid's life, DMC’s included. I will also be competing in my first Elvis Tribute Artist contest for the first time in January"

While Daniel's family still resides in Rock Hill, SC he moved to Tennessee to pursue more opportunities. However, he still calls both South Carolina and Tennessee home!

⚠️WNC Disaster Relief Drive⚠️
Flashback Band believes in the power of community. At our show this Friday, Oct 4th, Flashback will be partnering with MOOCHIES TAVERN , Apex Fiske Entertainment, and Mills River Brewing Co. for a donation drive to help our friends in WNC affected by Tropical Storm Helene. We’re honored to have lead vocalist Ernie Shepherd of the Trial By Fire Journey tribute band sitting in with us to sing a selection of Journey songs.
You definitely won’t want to miss that! We appreciate Ernie’s willingness to share his time and talent with us for this event. We’re so thankful he made time in his busy schedule to contribute to such a worthy cause! Be sure and catch a Trial By Fire show in the future.

The homes of two of our band members were greatly impacted by the storm, not to mention our numerous fans who have suffered devastating effects from this disaster. Let’s pull together and help out those in need in the affected areas! 

We’ll accept donations from 6pm- 10pm at the Flashback trailer in the Moochie’s Tavern parking lot this Friday. The supplies will be delivered Saturday at 4pm at Mills River Brewing in Mills River, NC. If you need items or know someone who needs them, please come and get them.

Some requested items are non-perishable food, gatorade, paper towels, dog and cat food, kitty litter, bar soap and liquid soap, washcloths, triple antibiotic ointment, hydrocortisone cream, Benadryl, Band-Aids, ibuprofen, acetaminophen, feminine hygiene products, cleaning supplies such as Windex and disinfecting wipes, also diapers, wipes, baby formula, baby bottles (many aren’t able to wash them since no water) and anything else that might be useful.

We appreciate you guys so much for making this happen! Thank you to the fans who have already donated. See you at the concert Friday night or Saturday at MRB at 4pm!

Hey there! As we previously announced Apex Fiske Entertainment launched an Artist Spotlight to showcase the amazing talents of local artists in our area. We are committed to supporting and highlighting the work of these talented individuals. This month we are highlighting Garrett Huffman!

At just 20 years old, Garrett Huffman has already achieved a remarkable array of career milestones since he first embarked on his musical journey in 2020. During the pandemic, Garrett taught himself to play the guitar, and soon developed a passion for songwriting and live performances. His debut live show took place in May 2021, and he has been honing his craft ever since.

His original music landed him a deal with Iron Gate Records in Nashville, TN and an endorsement deal with Willow Creek Guitars in Indianapolis, IN. Garrett has amassed countless fans across the United States and, on January 20, 2024, Garrett was bestowed with the esteemed “2023 Carolina CMA Entertainer of the Year” award by the Carolina Country Music Association at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC. His victory was fueled by the overwhelming support of his fan base, earning him the highest number of votes ever recorded in the history of the competition.
Since his debut, Garrett has performed at over 450 shows across North and South Carolina and Tennessee. He writes and produces his own music and has penned over 100 songs, with many slated for release in 2024 and 2025. His performances include notable venues in Nashville, TN, such as The Local, Tin Roof, and Commodore Grille, as well as concerts organized by the City of Gastonia, Town of Pineville, NC, City of York, SC, Town of Mooresville, NC, Town of Dallas, NC, and City of Mt. Holly, NC. For the past three years, he has opened for the Charlotte Symphony, performing for around 3,000 people each time.

Garrett has also played events with Warren Peay, Ronald Radford, Mark Herndon, and Dixiana and has opened for Mike Rogers, Cody Webb, Point of Grace, Marcus King, Mac Arnold, Chapel Hart, and Josh Turner in front of thousands of attendees. In addition, he has also opened for the bands On The Border, The Rick Strickland Band, Caleb Davis, The Brent Cates Band, and Dreamer.
Garretts’s original music has also been featured on multiple radio stations on 96.9 The Kat, iHeart Radio, Kicks 103.3, 93.9 Carolina Country, WFAY 100.1, WYAY 106.3, Z103.com, and Beach Waves Radio.

Looking ahead, Garrett and his band plan to perform at even bigger stages in 2025 and to release more music, including an EP or album. He plans to spend more time in Nashville, TN in the coming year and is enthusiastic about the new opportunities that await him there. Garrett gives God all the glory for his progress and feels blessed by the doors that continue to open as he advances in his musical career.

Hey there! As we previously announced Apex Fiske Entertainment launched an Artist Spotlight to showcase the amazing talents of local artists in our area. We are committed to supporting and highlighting the work of these talented individuals. This month we are highlighting Bailey Marie Griggs.

Bailey Marie is a singer, songwriter and actor from North Carolina. Staying true to her country roots she has found her niche as a country/pop artist performing across the country at iconic places such as the Apollo Theater in NYC, the Roxy in Hollywood, Universal Studios in Burbank California and various venues in the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and Nashville Tennessee. You can find Bailey playing the role of Marianne on the Apple TV series Swagger and playing Ashley Zamperini on HBO Max’s The Staircase. Bailey has written well over 60 original songs with hit writers in Nashville and currently works with Grammy nominated producer Kent Wells who is also Dolly Parton’s producer, producing her latest rock album. Bailey spent the summer of 2023 in LA filming for a major network music show as well. Bailey continues to focus on writing new original music and looks forward to her career in the music industry.

How it all started…
Bailey has always enjoyed singing. Eventually, she started taking voice lessons and doing a lot of musical theatre. Her mother submitted her to sing at the Apollo Theater in NYC never dreaming that she would actually hear back from them. They notified her that she was cast for the upcoming season as a child star and she went on to perform there several times. She met her LA producer Andrew Lane and started traveling to LA working on music. During the pandemic, she found her way to Nashville and worked with her producer Kent Wells. Since then she has been working with writers in the Nashville area along with her NC producer David Rhyne. They actually have several songs that they’ve co-written together. She also had the opportunity to film on a couple tv series over the last year. Swagger is now streaming on Apple TV and she had the honor of playing the role of Marianne. She recently filmed on an upcoming HBO tv series that she can’t talk too much about but she has enjoyed that opportunity as well.

Bailey understands this is not an easy road. She was quoted with saying “it takes a lot of hard work, and definitely luck to become successful in the entertainment industry. I’ve worked really hard over the last few years and I’m hoping that eventually, it will pay off. I’ve been lucky enough to work with incredible people and it seems that people get placed on my journey with me as if it’s just meant to be. I try to keep some things private so I will say that I’ve had incredible opportunities to meet with some pretty amazing industry people that I plan to work towards in the near future”.
Since her transition to Nashville, she has settled into who she is an artist. She’s not your typical Nashville/country artist. She loves pop music but being from the south her roots are definitely country so with her new music she has tried to take a touch of pop and mix that with her country roots and the songs that are finished and ready to release will reflect who she truly is as an artist.
If you have seen her in the news lately you know first hand the road for her hasn’t been an easy one. However, Bailey is more dedicated than ever to continue her journey to make it in the entertainment industry. Look for her to appear at a venue near you!
