March was a great month for music releases- especially in the FL water. Check out these full project releases from some of our favorites.

1. - “feast, by ravens” ep

- Really impressed on first listen with the variety in production as well as the vocal performance from track to track. I feel like Wahid took risks on this ep and it worked in his favor.

2. - “Restore The Feeling” ep

- a loaded concise 4 pack exhibiting top tier rapping ability and infectious hook writing on records like “Fiesta” and “FirmWay Anthem”. production was crazy unpredictable on “Time”.

3. - “Hermit Mode” ep

- another ep to add to the savant of lofi rap catalog. Real easy and digestible listen. Idk wtf that was on “UP” w/ Lil’UK but that track is crazy. Lofi-drill?

4. - “Just Wait Till I Drop Vol. 1”

- the majority of this project is for the whip slidin with the homies. A consistent bop throughout. Guest features like & were great pics. Definitely pull up to function with this project.

5. - “Street Therapy”

- a lengthy 18 track album where Taz starts off strong with heavy mental health raps from the street perspective. But its tracks like “MLK” that really show Taz’s highlights with his writing and cadence with calm production that captures you.

6. x - “Turn Off The Algorithm Vol. 3”

- On their 3rd edition of the TOTA series, Niko continues to parade cinematic raps over the 3 pack production from Henry Daher as the consistent co-Star. Is anyone paying attention to this series??? There’s even instrumentals available if you rappers got that rap bug.

Did we miss any project releases from March? If so, comment below.

Day 28: Nefertiti (born Nefertiti Strong 1973 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American, former rap recording artist-turned-activist, film producer, film director, and designer. Although originally from Chicago, when she was very young, she, and her parents later moved to Los Angeles, California. Her parents brought her up to be Islamic as they followed the Nation of Islam’s teachings by the organization’s leader, Elijah Muhammad. By her late teens or early twenties, Nefertiti had decided to seriously try her hand at pursuing a career in rap music. Signing with Mercury Records, Nefertiti recorded and released her debut, and only, album, L.I.F.E. - (Living In Fear of Extinction) on October 19, 1993. One music critic described her voice as being a cross between those of MC Lyte and Queen Latifah. Although the late Guru and DJ Pooh were involved in the project, and in spite of King T, DJ Premier, and MC Lyte guesting on it, it may had garnered critical acclaim, but lacked in commercial success. One of the tracks, “Trouble in Paradise”, is a tribute to the late MC Trouble. Nefertiti appeared in the 1995 historical drama film, Panther, and was featured on one of the soundtrack’s songs, “Freedom” along with several, other female rappers and R&B singers of the time.
