It has been a number of years since I closed the studio in Gulfport. As a business it was a great example of the old adage " To end up with a small fortune in the recording business, start with a bigger one. ". But it was personally the best 8 working years of my life. Over the past couple years I have lost touch with most everyone that helped create and share that special experience. JD is home in Spartanburg, Doc is back home in New Orleans, David Cotton - Dean Rouch - and so many more I only find on Facebook. Jak Kelly and Dwayne Slayton, Mr Satan (Sterling Magee) are recently gone. Tracey Purcell, Tim Eddy, Keven Thomas, Sarah Sax, Dave L (Dave on drums), Byron John Howes, Don Nicolson, all a fond memory. So many unfinished projects, So so many good memories. To those of you who are still out there. Wendy Delong, Myer Baron Nathan Knowles, Steve Douglas, Peter Kainaroi, Red, David Cotton, Ms Wendy Rich, and all the rest I remember it all and you fill my heart with joy. We took time to create, rehearse, hone talent, complete life's works, share our stories and enjoy the comradery of our passion for music. Thank You all. I still hold onto many recordings, some are gone, but if you have interest in a recording you may have been part of, please contact me here.
I returned to Tallahassee a couple years ago where Marion and I take care of my 93 year old Mom. We are comfortable out here in the north Florida woods and doing well. We miss you all so feel free to connect.
