Proverbs 16:3 Damien Priest (#IAMCatholicHipHop | #TheRosaryMaker) is a Catholic artist/producer who established R2R315.com (Rags2Riches) in 2010. “I started making Rosaries first (kinda for self-penance), but over time I found myself looking for more ways to express my faith in a world I really believe needs to hear the Good News, which is Jesus. To me, making music (hip-hop), videos, etc., that incorporated where my life and faith intersect, made sense... it’s what I grew up on, good or bad, it was a part of my life and now so was Jesus. Over the last 8 years, through highs and lows, I’ve done everything I could to build something that might glorify God in ways that other people could relate to. At the end of the day, all I can do is try to live it as best as I can, and in doing so hopefully it encourages other people to “take up your cross and follow Jesus.”” (Luke 9:23) Rags2Riches x R2R315 is a media ministry devoted to prayer as well as outreach using primarily art and scripture as the foundation for it's inspiration.
