I bought this comforter for $12.90 today at Value World in Taylor MI... I googled the name on the tag and it appears to be from Poland and made of Polish Goose Down which is supposed to be really high quality and it looks new and is so fluffy! I just thought it was pretty but I think I may have stumbled on a very lucky find!

I scored this groovy little radio at a thrift stall in Montagu, South Africa, for only 10ZAR (about 50 cents American). When I got home, I Googled it and found out it's called a "Toot-a-loop" from the funky 1970s. You can wear it as a bracelet or bend it open to make it stand on its own. The sound is a bit wonky, but it still rocks! It is a FM one which apparently is quite rare! 🤩

Recently moved into a house at the beginning of the summer and while cleaning out the attic, we came across this 1980’s Mr. Christmas ice skating display!!
I jumped for joy when I opened the box to find ALL the pieces still in perfect condition!!! She plays music and runs beautifully 🥰

*We did contact the previous owners and they said we could have it because it wasn’t their style*

In 2019 when I lived in Missouri I had a knock on the door from an older neighbor who was moving and wanted to know if I wanted some "old furniture" from his house. I said I'd take a look and take some stuff off their hands. Not finding anything I could really work with, in the basement sat this 1963 Zenith color television with Hi-Fi sound and 19-inch screen under a bedsheet in the corner. The guy smiled and said he hadn't used it in decades. He remembered the day his parents brought it home in the station wagon - his dad had a big smile, and his mother's face was as white as a ghost because of the cost of a color TV at the time. He also recalled when he was 13 that he, his parents, and a couple friends gathered around the glowing picture tube as man landed on the moon in 1969, everyone's eyes glued to the screen. When he grew up and got married in 1978, his parents gifted him the television as the first set for him and his bride's new home. He treasured it so much he never got rid of it, even after the picture tube went out, after which he asked me if I would take care of it for him. I told him absolutely. I've had it ever since and it's moved a couple states with me, and am saving up a small fund to ship it off to have it fully restored electronically one day. They just don't make them like they used to ❤️📺

A couple months ago I inherited this old, treasured measuring cup from my aunt who passed. I love the three spouts and I had not noticed the 'Kellogg’s' written in the bottom until today. It’s absolutely perfect with no chips or cracks. I don’t know anything about it but I Just wanted to share this treasure.

I purchased my in-laws' home with its contents, and these are, by far, one of my favorite discoveries. I had to scrub 40+ years of hairspray and dust accumulated from being in a bathroom.
