I swear, it’s in his blood. You put on any race, and he’s glued to the tv! Even his toys, he loves all kinds of wheels and gears. He loves visiting Jon at work, and looking at all the racecars. I love watching him learn about this crazy world.

I swore I was going to post a “day in the life”, to show what my day was like heading to North Wilkesboro Speedway. But honestly, that s**t flew by. It was hectic, chaotic, fun, and everything in between. Thankfully I had made food the night before, and Jon packed the stroller & wagon for me. But you would have thought I was traveling for a week if you saw my car 😂 Tucker got to meet lots of new faces, and it was a blast being back at a local track. The race…. Didn’t go exactly to plan, but we love watching Andy give it his all on the track. Next up for the 70, Martinsville Speedway!

Ps. Tuck needed a little nap before the green flag, but he stayed up for the whole race! 🏁

Hi 👋, It’s Me, Kate, the girl who has dedicated my entire life to “making it” in racing. Growing up in what seems like the smallest town in America (Robesonia, PA), I set my goals high and settling for nothing less, NASCAR or Bust.

1️⃣1️⃣ Years in the sport and here I am, a live look at what my life has revolved around - racing. An industry that had me working 7 Days a Week, 120 Hours a Week, Hotel Points & Airline Miles for Days. I guess you could say I was out there just living my best life 😆

Hey! I’m Shelly. One half of our new podcast, married to the track! This is just getting started, so for now, why not a little intro!?
I’ve been around racing pretty much my whole life. My dad raced snowmobiles and jet skis long before I was even around. When I was 4, my brother, Andy, started racing go karts. I tagged along for his entire career, and still do! We traveled the entire east coast for his racing, until we moved to NC in 2012. In 2017, I had joined in helping my brothers ARCA team, which led me to meeting my husband, Jon. He was then working for an ARCA team, and is now the shop foreman for a NASCAR Xfinity team.
My goal for this podcast is to shed some light on my life, my perspective of being a “racing wife, and even a driver’s sister. While this is a sport we all love, it most definitely has its ups and downs. Follow along on our journey!
