The Star made a regrettable mistake in our Oct. 29, 2020 edition when a political ad placed on behalf of Dan Bousquet as a write-in candidate for re-election to the City Council of South Sioux City was inadvertently omitted from the layout of the paper. Please consider sharing Dan's message with your fellow South Sioux City voters in fairness to him and be sure to vote Tuesday if you have not already for the candidates of your choice!

There may not be a Nebraska game this weekend — thank you COVID-19 and B1G decision-makers — but that doesn't mean you can't make Saturday a bit more interesting by participating in the Star's weekly "College Football Contest." Details are at the link or the image with this post . . . . . free to enter. Oh, and if you're wondering what the tie-breaker will be without a Husker game then 1) I like your confidence and 2) it'll be a hat with names in it. Also, congrats to Tim Mast and Ralph Stephan, Week 1 winners.
