Just a tiny trick I thought I’d share. When recording a guitar with mics, say mid side for example, the very last note that is played and allowed to ring out forever can sometimes end up having a touch of noise towards the end. Be it mic noise or preamp or room , whatever. So I’ll take the DI channel which in most cases I haven’t been using , and use that last note in place of center mic note. It’ll ring out forever noise free.
