We recently got a chance to collaborate with artist, filmmaker and educator Ramey Newell on her feature doc 'A Good Wolf' which premiered at the Mountain Film Festival this past week in Telluride, CO.

The beautiful film which examines a 40-year conflict over land adjacent to Denali Nation Park explores the struggle between state & federal authorities, fur trappers and wildlife advocates and competing human interests on public lands. A new proposal forwarded by biologists and activists hoping to regain protections for wolves near the park boundary is at odds with local trappers who are adamantly opposed. Stuck in the middle are some of America's most iconic animals and wild places.

A legendary figure in the world of golf and especially at Augusta National - the home of the annual Masters Tournament, Carl Jackson has lived an incredible life.

We recently got the chance to collaborate with filmmaker MaryIIene Blondell on a film about Carl's life called 'Rise Above: The Carl Jackson Story'.

The film documents Carl's early life from the tough streets of Augusta, GA to his rise as one of the game's most revered and respected caddies.

He is best known for helping Ben Crenshaw achieve two Masters victories, but that is not his whole story. Rise Above is a heartwarming look at how sport, friendship, and dedication can achieve nearly anything.

We recently had the pleasure of grading Hemisphere from Trujillo Creek & director Chris Maes. It is an edge-your-seat, sci-fi thriller beautifully lensed by Joe Tyler with additional cinematography from Clark Vandergrift.

The film follows the story of pilot Sandra Ramirez who accepts a mission to explore an abandoned mining outpost near Mercury, where she stumbles upon a solitary crew member in hiding. She soon learns that a group of ruthless hijackers is about to return and finish their job.

Headbanging metal, monsters, HDR?

That was pitch to us to grade an HDR version of the video 'Call Of The Void' to help showcase the capabilities of the brand new 55" QD-OLED HDR Mastering Display.

The 2000 nit, ultra-wide gamut XMP550 is an amazing display and a near-perfect balance of size and capabilities with none of the drawbacks of WRGB OLED or FALD displays. Grading on the display was simply jaw-dropping.

Do yourself a favor and check out the display at an upcoming industry trade show or schedule an appointment to see this amazing monitor at FSI's offices outside of Atlanta. We'll be adding XMP550s to our arsenal as soon as they are available this fall.

To say we had a blast coloring & collaborating on from our pals would be a huge understatement! It's been amazing to help bring this beautiful, educational, and refreshing series to the world.

When our pals & come calling, we know it’s going to be an amazing project and that was certainly the case for their new series Human Footprint.

In this fast-paced, engaging & thought-provoking six-part series, join biologist and host .campbellstaton and explore the global impact of Earth’s most ingenious, destructive, and adaptable species. Earth has never experienced anything like us: a single species dominating and transforming the planet. Shane travels the globe to explore our Human Footprint and to discover how the things we do reveal who we truly are.

The first episode 'Strangers In Paradise' takes a look at how invasive species are reshaping the world’s ecosystems, but who’s really to blame? In this episode, Shane wrestles a python, hunts Hawaiian pigs, and gets sucker-punched by a carp to answer the question: in the Age of Humans, how does our species decide what belongs?

We love grading nature-focused films and the plethora of species that make up ecosystems around the world. Almost no one does it better than our pals at Day's Edge Productions. Their new film 'Miami Wild', a co-production with Terra Mater Studios premieres on Smithsonian Channel Wednesday, May 18th, and is narrated by the legendary .

There is some stunning photography in this film and the super fun story follows wildlife all around the metropolis of Miami, Florida.
