Thank you Ambassador Candace A. Bond for extending the invitation to come down to Trinidad and Tobago for the week for business and pleasure. The experience last night at the kickoff of carnival season, the CIC Fete with the Saints Party hosted by St Mary’s College Alumni Foundation was spectacular, full of color, soca music, happiness, and unity. I am proud to call you a dear friend and family and to see the tremendous impact of purpose and service you are making in Trinidad and Tobago. It is a pleasure to be back on this beautiful island where we produced the Tobago Jazz Festival from 2004 to 2007 with the LaRoda Group LTD

We produced the 2022 YWCA Phenomenal Woman Awards at SoFi Stadium’s YouTube Theater this week, and this state of the art venue allowed us to perfect a magical evening!

Big thanks to my Producer and my ace for 27 years Paul Raksit, video producer Bruce Cecil, lighting producer Christian Epps, and renowned musical director Herman Jackson. Thank you to my Hammond family, YWCA and Cynthia Heard for the call 8 months ago with an idea to honor our frontline workers.

We wanted to go big and make this event special. Mission accomplished! Thank you to all my treasured relationships, talent and honorees.

Yesterday, Kaiser Permanente and Hammond Entertainment came together to produce the 3rd Annual Kaiser Permanente Empower Youth Summit.
A heartfelt thank you to the athletes, executives, entrepreneurs, healthcare workers, and hip hop legend who came out to help us inspire 560 eighth graders from the Vallejo Unified School District. This is such a pivotal time for the kids, and our speakers truly made an impact by sharing their wisdom and stories to educate and uplift an underserved community. With Napa being my second home the last 16 months, I’m humbled to be able to give back to the community and produce this special event. I was also joined by longtime friend Jim Kelly, and my goddaughter Emily Babich!

I enjoyed an amazing wine drinking experience at Monticello Vineyards in Napa with winemaker and general manager Chris Corley and Rex Stults, Vice President of Industry Relations at Napa Valley Vintners. The Monticello Family has been making wine since 1970, and Chris is the 2nd generation of his family to carry on this legacy on their property. I was so impressed with the rich history and stories of his father’s vision here. Big thanks to my man Rex and Chris - if you’re in the wine business they are the real deal!

“We felt compelled to partner with Napa County Public Health, Napa Chamber of Commerce, Napa Valley Vintners, and other partners to provide a COVID-19 pop-up vaccination clinic to our most vulnerable population within Napa county. Through this event we were able to vaccinate 1,430 members of our Napa community that included farm, cellar, and food service workers that were eligible for a vaccine. This was our opportunity to contribute to minimizing the ravages of this virus, saving lives, and improving the health of our community. Another successful weekend in the books and way to close out month #1! Since our launch at the start of February we have vaccinated over 13,000 of Solano County's most vulnerable residents and look to increase our days of operation from 2 days to 4 days per week at ~3000 vaccinations per day.
Ben Gammon, Solano County Emergency Medical Services Coordinator, one of the community partners commented, "I’ve seen tears of joy from people having fear out there due to the virus. To see people get the shot they need, it’s very emotional."

What a blessing it has been to kick-off Hammond Entertainment’s 25th Anniversary of producing hundreds of incredible events from celebrity golf tournaments and corporate events to fundraisers, concerts and music tours, and now pivoting to being the Managing Partner of Operations and Logistics at the COVID-19 Vaccination Facility at the Solano Fairgrounds in the fight against the national and global pandemic affecting our lives today. I can't imagine there being a more timely or greater cause for us to support!

On Saturday, our team produced an event for the first responders from the County of Los Angeles Fire Department, Ventura County Fire Department Fire & Rescue, and Los Angeles Fire Department. We celebrated 500 firefighters and their guests with food, drinks, entertainment and a live performance byThe Doors, Roddy Krieger, and lead vocalist for Chicago, Jason Scheff. Event created, spearheaded & sponsored by John Scardino and Jonathan Severn and Lance Sterling, owner of The Canyon Club.
