Since 2007, ARTCRANK has taken me across the country and overseas in ways that I never dreamed possible. The rewards have been countless, most of all the opportunity to share the work of so many brilliant and talented artists.
But it’s also a business that requires a continual investment of time, energy and every other resource you can imagine. I’ve reached a point in my life at which I know I’ve taken the idea as far as I can, and it’s time to hit the brakes and call it good.
This has not been an easy decision and I know it’s not one that everyone’s going to like. But I also know it’s the right one all the same.
Our shop at artcrank.com will stay up through the end of August. The future of the rest of the site is, well, a work in progress. For now, our focus is on doing right by our artists, which means selling as much of their work as we can between now and then.
Thank you for being a fan, for supporting independent artists, and for sharing in all the joys that bikes bring to life and the world.
