This week's episode features Emma, a fellow champion from Champion Health Agency. It took a long time for her to get diagnosed with EDS - among many other things - but that doesn't make her symptoms any less real or treatable. It's an ongoing battle, and I was so grateful she came on the show to talk about it.

Since there wasn't an episode this week, I thought I'd share this fantastic bladder health workshop that will be online.
For a lot of us bladder exstrophy people, this could be super beneficial to discover other ways to support that part of that body!

Plus, 100% of the registration fees go to the local 2nd Harvest Food Bank, which after all of the local storms that have caused flooding and damage to the area is really needed!

If you can't make it, but want the info, simply sign up and send an email address over, the workshop will be recorded and sent out to anyone who couldn't attend it live.

This is a late post for yesterday's International Women's Day. This week's interview was with who had childhood cancer and battled it again as an adult. Her story is so powerful, that while I was editing the audio, I was struck for a second time by her strength, it literally brought tears to my eyes again. Not only is she setting an incredible example for her children, but she's the COO of the - setting an example for every woman with breast cancer on how to help others and give back, even when you're not feeling your best.
If you haven't yet, go listen to the episode and share the Pink Warrior Advocates with anyone you think could benefit from their aid.

Maybe I'm a little biased, but I think my cartoon character designed by Chelsea O'Sullivan is so stinking cute.

I loved this week's episode and hope all of you do too! I've been following for a while now and have just been in awe of her attitude. She's outspoken about disabilities on her socials, and she's been doing some amazing advocate work bringing awareness. Go listen to this episode where she gives me the full rundown on her EDS (Ehler-Danlos Syndrome), what it was like to get diagnosed, and finally getting a stoma.

Happy Holidays everyone!
This week's episode is the last one for the year and since the holidays are a time of the year that we come together with family, it's only fitting to have my mom come back on the show for another segment of our journey. And of course, post a photo of us from another holiday season.
The more I chat with her and learn about her perspective and all of the little choices and sacrifices she had to make for me, the more I feel so extremely lucky to have such a strong and caring mom.

This weeks episode with Jill about diabetes was so informative. There's so much monitoring to constantly be aware of and so much wear and tear on the body. Join us to hear about how medical advancements over the years have helped (or not) with monitoring blood sugar levels and what its like to go through pregnancy as a diabetic- something I had never even considered! Thank you Jill Ellis Zurschmeide for speaking with me and educating us!
