My favorite Little Feat song! This was on the Midnight Special in 1977. The band was never the same (for me) after Lowell George passed. Later on, I did get to hang out with Richie Hayward at a BR Cohn Winery concert in 2009.

Today is "National Vietnam War Veterans Day." The special day recognizes the nine million U.S. Armed Forces and Uniformed Services personnel with active-duty service between Nov. 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of location of service. I was in Nha Trang 1967-1968.

A Tony Bennett cable car wouldn’t be the first San Francisco attraction to be named after the beloved baritone. Since 2016, a Tony Bennett statue has stood in front of the Venetian Room at the Fairmont Hotel, where Bennett first sang the song that became his most famous. The street on which the monument stands has been renamed “Tony Bennett Way.”

The legendary singer not only sang but supported the city’s iconic transit.
