Here on the Best Coast we are digging deep for words that will express our sadness for our neighbors in the Southland who have lost so much. Los Angeles County and the many cities and towns in the area have experienced something beyond the pale and we’re thinking of them and hoping that a donation or other support (see and scan the QR Code below) can bring at least something to help.

Blue Moon Americana will be back in the saddle this morning at 9 Pacific as we also pay tribute to a couple folks, one being soul man Sam Moore and the other being a local legend who we lost this past week: Austin De Lone. Tune in for throwback sounds from Bill Kirchen, Nick Lowe, Linda Ronstadt, Ronnie Milsap and a few others as we mine rock’s past and deliver some of the new and best from under that Americana tent.
