Confused by the endless labels covering egg cartons, milk cartons, meat packages, and more, co-founders Sally and Jenna dove into articles and white pages to cut through marketing BS and find out what was really worth their hard-earned dollars. Realizing friends and family wouldn’t or couldn’t put that time into self-education, the friends launched The Pickle to provide must-know shopping info on everyday ingredients in a short, witty, non-preachy way.
