Yesterday I posted we brought this sweet boy home. Today he seems, for lack of a better word, depressed. He’s eating but barely and he responds when we love on him but he isn’t playful like he was yesterday. 💔😔Anyone have any ideas to help?

Hi everyone👋🏼 I’m in desperate need of some advice. I am a first time dog owner with a 19 week old bully. He is crate trained and has always done great with it but lately he’s been barking nonstop when any human is in view and does not let him out. We don’t let him out when we’re eating, sleeping or if I’m in the shower because I don’t want him out alone with my 3 year old. He is also crated when we are not home. I take him for multiple walks daily & on my days off I take him for short hikes or to the dog park. When he is out he just has SO MUCH ENERGY. It’s just A LOT and I get very overstimulated by him easily, as does my 3 year old. He races around the house a million miles per hour, jumps up onto the couches and climbs all over us, does not just sit and CHILL for even a second. He also eats whatever he can find so we close doors to bedrooms and bathroom and pick up everything off the floor but somehow he still manages to find shoes or remotes or little toys my son has stashed away out of sight. I try to redirect him with his toys but it doesn’t seem to work and if it does, not for long. I feel like his high energy is really taking a toll on me and causes me to keep him crated more than I should. I do work on training him and so far all he’s got down is sit and high five. When taking him for walks he bites on his leash and lashes around like a mad man & again, eats everything in sight. I don’t know how much more I can take😭 I love him and just want us all to be able to comfortably live together in the same home. Please give me all the tips and tricks 😫
