HiSol Recordings Company Sotero Garcia-Founder, Frank Richards-Managing Director
30 yrs. in Music Production & Event Planning In the spirit of:

"HiSoL is the Moment.

For over 25 years Sotero has been a resident of the Southern Cal Dance Music Culture. After being exposed to the west coast rave scene in the early 1990s, he developed a deep passion for House Music and quickly bought a set of turntables and began to collect records that he heard out at nightclubs and parties. Sotero moved to San Diego in the early 1990’s and teamed up with the very respected rave

promoter Francesca Gonzalez. They began doing a series of underground events over the span of 4 years (1992 - 1996) at the original World Beat Center. Together, they hosted such DJ’s as DJ’s as Doc Martin, Mark Farina, Barry Weaver, David Alverado, Steve Loria, Wicked Crew (DJ Garth, Jeno, Marlie and Thomas) just to name a few.... Within three to four years after picking up the "habit" he started touring throughout North America, Amsterdam, Puerto Rico, Canada and the Florida Keys. Here after, Sotero became a local favorite and was given several residencies and was one of the main DJ’s in rotation at the infamous Rampa Room. In 2001 Sotero started his own unique and fresh independent record/lifestyle label “HiSoL" Recordings. Currently, HiSoL is based between San Diego, Las Vegas and Thailand. Over the span of 16 years Sotero and HiSoL had some very nice releases that gained international recognition. In 2002 Sotero produced “The Vibe” and it was quickly licensed by Global Underground #23 Barcelona mixed by James Lavelle. Sotero gained international exposure and recognition from this release. With all of this he was distributing vinyl out of his garage and was the music buyer at Groove Records from 2000-2004. In addition, he was also the resident DJ at Club Element, which was owned by Groove Records. Today, he shares duties with longtime HiSoL artist and childhood friend, DJ Frank Richards. In 2015 they relaunched HiSoL’s entire back catalog digitally on all music sites around the globe. Team HiSoL is also very proud and honored to have worked on events between America and Asia over the past decade. The label has worked closely with such brands and artists as Space Ibiza, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Def Mix, Frankie Knuckles, Paul Oakenfold, Dennis Ferrer, Sven Vath, and Pete Tong. In the fall of 2020 Sotero and HiSoL will be releasing several tracks and begin a series of events. Keep it HiSoL . . ."
