I will be putting together a tribute to our dear friend Selles for both his Celebration of Life (details have not be set yet, but I will let everyone know when they have) and a future episode of the Blurred Nerds podcast (when I feel ready to record again, I promised him I would keep this dream going for him).

This morning, at 4:40 am, my legendary friend Marselles Coe passed away peacefully in his sleep.

He knows how much we all loved and cherished him.

He faced these last days with acceptance and final jokes and smiles for so many of us.

Please raise a glass to this extraordinary human, who dealt with what life threw at him with so much more grace, humor and strength than many of us could.

He will be missed, but those of us who know him will forever honor his memory.

Love you Selles. And love all of you who love him too.

Morning all,

Marselles is awake and lucid this morning and has been able to read through a few messages. Please however, don't bombard his phone.

If you would like to visit today, he has given the okay and there is no need to message Manda beforehand for today.

Check in with the head nurse at the CVICU and let her know who you are there for, he is in room 4024.

Methodist hospital, on Floyd Curl. Parking garage #2 is closest to where he is.

Lil' Bit here.....There is not a delicate way to put this, especially through a post.

The GeekFather went into the hospital about a week ago and was soon moved into the CVICU.

While we hoped he would recover quickly, things unfortunately took a turn for the worse.

his body is just not strong enough to continue fighting and soon palliative care will begin.

Earlier today, he rallied a bit and was talking and was made aware of and understood what is happening.

His "sis'n law" Manda and I are coordinating the best as we can to let people know what is happening, relay your love to him, and carry out what he requested to happen.

I know this is scary and shocking news and we are feeling every bit of heartbreak, numbness, worry and fear that everyone has.

I was able to visit earlier today and expressed all the love and messages that people have been sending to him that I could.

I know everyone wants to see him that can, but he can only have so many visitors and the hospital staff are being very gracious at the moment allowing the few in that they have. Folks have been trying to message him however he is not using his phone and has not in almost a week.

Please be patient if you are not receiving responses as fast as you would like - I am trying to respond to as many as possible as fast as I can.

And please join me, his family and friends in sending out all the love into the universe for him.

He would want tell you all to not to forget your pillow ❤️
