Broken hearted over this tragedy. I feel like I never know what to say in situations like this but I do know that something needs to change. This is less than an hour from my home. Neighbors with family and friends involved..

This could be any of us. Any of our kids, cousins, etc. One of the teachers has the same last name as my mom, teaching for the same amount of years, also has 4 kids. Loved teaching, teacher of the year just like my momma. 💔

Spending the next 24 hours researching what I can do to help.

And if you’re a small business owner, social media manager, content creator.. consider putting a pause on your promotional posts for 24 hours.

Does your business have a consistent presence on multiple social media platforms? 👀

Now of course I’m not telling you that you should be active on allll platforms BUT definitely should be on more than one. 🤍

Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, etc. soooo many options. 🤪

Now you’re probably thinking “I don’t even have the time to fully dedicate to one platform..” I don’t blame you!! I wouldn’t expect you to! 😵‍💫

I’m sure you didn’t start your boutique, gym, photography business because you love social media marketing. You do it because you love fashion, fitness, photography and helping people feel confident! ☺️

And you should be able to focus your time on those things you love and are passionate about without getting burnt out! 😇

That’s the tricky part about social media - it’s not a one size fits all. Each brand needs their own strategy and what works for your business friends brand likely won’t work the same for yours. You need a strategy based off your target market, what your audience wants to see, take into consideration the algorithm, etc. Try out different strategies and see what works for you! Trial and error. 🤍💫
