This peice isnt one of mine but I found it in a easter symbols book at and fell in love. I felt this so much with my last birth. Our family tree truely never dies they help us more than we know. And this is such a beautiful painting to celebrate that.

My biggest hold up on photobooks is trying to narrow down the pages to 20. What do you cut? So I end up with an 80 page book at $1-$3 a page which comes out to...more than i want to spend. But theyre my history, my story, and one hard drive crash away from gone. So i need to print them and heres a few places I like with reasonable prices. Would you like more tips like this?

My Moms been working on her personal history...and my book. Its been so fun to discuss some of the experiences that have helped shape her testimony and how eye opening the questions have been for her. Sometimes we dont realize the impact certain experiences have until we revisit them years later. If you havent sat down and wrote about how you got your testimony I strongly encourage it.

I painted a Thank you card today Ive been painting a lot of them lately. I have so much to be thankful for. Weve had so many people go out of their way to make us feel loved. Theres nothing like a few trials to help you see how many amazing people you have in your life. I can't even name everyone who has helped us over the past couple months between job references, texts, food, and all the little and big things. It truely been a miraculous journey.

This post is a little late but I wanted to wish my oldest daughter Happy Birthday! She recently turned four and she loves telling people how she used to be three but now she’s four. She helped me design this portrait of her, with the critical eye of her brother who kept telling me things didn’t look right, the color I choose was off and I needed to fix it. Sometimes when we look at something we forget all the work that happened behind the scenes. when we look at our own image we often forget what all we’ve been through, where we started from and the work it took to get there. We focus on the things we’d like to improve, change and get better at. Which is unfortunate cause we also need to see the beauty before us. So that’s your challenge today. Look at something a little deeper than you did yesterday and see the work behind it. Especially if it’s you ❤️
