Day 1 of Anime Expo as Hatsune Miku 💙✨️
I have a lot to say about anime expo... it was always a dream of mine to go since its the biggest anime convention in the u.s and they compete and the winner get to go to Japan but maaaaan they completly oversold the event. Nearly half a million people were there. Barely space to walk through the crowd, took around an hour each day to get inside the huge venue even, got lost inside so many times since it was huge, crowded and confusing to find where panels n stuff were. And dont get me started on the panels! I planned this 4 day trip well, with schedules for diff panels but boiiii with so many people, panels were full, you have to stand in lines hours before any panel even start and then they turned you down for over capacity in the end? In the 4 day event i was only able to attebd 2 panels in total! Only 2!!!Complete failure and confusion inside every day 😵💫
BUT it was fun to see all the weebs around and the anime merch, spending money left and right 😆 one in a lifetime experience for sure 🥹
Didnt take too many photos since my social anxiety was at its peak 😖 ended up only cosplaying for one day. Mixed feelings about this event. I am def focusing on small cons around my area from now on. Anime Expo please do better next time 🫠
