Update: Even though a postponement was announced for the McKinley Park Prunathon, enough volunteers showed up that they pruned in the rain.
Note to rose fans: Pruning events are happening Saturday, Jan. 12, at Sacramento's Historic City Cemetery and at the Maidu Community Center in Roseville. Meanwhile, here are some garden chores to do between storms.
