Why am I doing interviews of folks outta Northern California? Getting a recorded record of history for those who come many years later can hear the actual factual History from the people themselves, those who were there. October 20th 2020 I took a trip to Salinas to sit with my brother Israel Villa. I was invited into his families home, we broke bread, then I let the camera roll and we spoke about his life, the past, the present, and the future. Mr. Jones was a successful entrepreneur owning and operating many businesses within Stockton, CA. including a construction firm, consulting agency, and various retail stores. A family man, and well known in the community until it all came to an abrupt end in 1983....when at 40yrs old he was sentenced to LIFE in prison for Murder.
Follow Blac Auguzt so you can hear his story about Police corruption, a crooked District Attorney, and how he finally made Parole at age 70 without EVER admitting to the crime. Blac Auguzt Studioz will be doing a video on the Last 48 Hours of Quincy “Q-Dhog” Jacksons’ Life. He was brutally murdered by the San Jose Police Department on April 14, 1993. Blac Auguzt will be telling the story of the last few hours of his life by the person who was there with him, Me (Reese)

We are looking to get friends/family of Quincy to participate in the video by doing a 1 to 3 minute video of any memories you have of or with Quincy. You can either submit the video to Blac Auguzt Studioz inbox -OR- Blac Auguzt can possibly come film you (Sac, Stockton, SJ, Modesto)

Beautiful interview today with my lil homie Layzie Loc. We covered many topics including being in prison from 17 to 27yrs old, & his great accomplishment in getting his Masters Degree from SJSU. He also shared with me that he is teaching African American History at San Jose City College. As I was telling him how proud I was of him he stopped me a few times and let me know that I am and have played a part in his achievements. He went on to tell me that ever since he’s known me from about age 14, I’ve always looked out for him, dropped knowledge on him, schooled him, and encouraged him. And this is why he feels strongly that I played a part in who he is today. I can’t lie, his words made your boys eyes water up. Moral of the story: You never know the impact you have on others. If you really, really knew we all would take more care in dealing with each other. Much love to my young bro Layzie AKA Professor Miller.
